Another novelty showcased for the firts time during MDW 19 are two Stand mirrors, iconic brand’s collection since 2015. Featuring a soft minimalism, trademark of Danish studio Norm Architects, the shapes and finishes of this two mirrors match perfectly with Stand cosoles oval & round, with black and brass structure. Geometric purity, simple naturalness and sober authenticity coexist in a perfect balance where the functional element of the frame meets the aesthetic need for detail.

Designers
Norm. Architects was founded in 2008. Based in the heart of Copenhagen, Norm works with residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography, graphics and art direction. The name Norm indicates the importance of drawing inspiration from traditions and norms that have been refined for centuries within the field of architecture and aesthetics. Norm uses this concept as a virtue to focus on quality, durability and timelessness. They want their designs to not only be of good materials and good craftsmanship, but to embody beauty, history and, most importantly, outlive fleeting trends. In spirit of Scandinavian simplicity Norm strives to cut to the bone in their designs. Finding the simplest shape for a given task without forgetting beauty and details, Norm Architects aim to reach a point where there is nothing to add and nothing to take away that can make the product better. Like true Scandinavians they pride themselves in their culture and history, aspiring to create new norms for Nordic design.
