Hiroshi Kawano was born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1971. He studied interior architecture at Tama Art University, Tokyo. Since 2007, he has been collaborated with international brands, including Ligne Roset, Cinna and Ex.t. His BLOOM lamp was selected as “New+Notable 2008; the year’s smartest products” by I.D. magazine.

Meike Langer is independent furniture and product designer. She graduated from University of Art and design in Offenbach in 2010 with additional studies at the ECAL in Lausanne. An internship in the studio of Patricia Urquiola in 2007 enhanced her sense for materials, colours and textures. In 2012 and in 2013 she was nominated for the German Design Award in the Newcomer category. Her designs have been showcased at international trade fairs and exhibitions in Paris, Milan, Cologne and Kortrijk. She is also artistic assistant in the product design department at Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar. In 2014 her product SALUT as been awarded at the Biennale Interieur Awards in Kortrijk.
